Here you will find answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about our service, features, and policies. If you have a question that is not listed here, please feel free to contact us and we will try to help you as soon as possible.

How long does it take for my game data to appear after submission?

The time it takes for your game data to appear on RNGD depends on the review process by the RNGD team. They will check your data for eligibility and quality before adding it to the website. The review process can take anywhere from one day to one month at most. We aim to update our database as often as we can, but sometimes it may take up to one month or a quarter in exceptional cases. You will receive an email when your game data is approved and published.

I submitted offer claim request while offer is available before it ends, when will I get the reward?

If you submitted your offer claim request while the offer was still available, you will get your reward within 1 to 3 days. The RNGD team will check your request and approve it if it is valid. You will receive a confirmation email when your reward is sent to you.

The limited time offer has ended, can I still retweet or contribute and get rewarded?

Yes, you can still retweet or contribute and get rewarded, but you may have to wait for a couple of weeks until your request is reviewed. The RNGD team usually checks the offer claim requests during the offer time period and rarely outside of it. You will receive an email when your request is processed and your reward is delivered to you.

Do I lose my game data submission quota when my membership subscription ends?

No, you do not lose your game data submission quota when your membership subscription ends. Your quota is reserved for you, but you will need to have an active membership level access to use it. If your subscription period has expired, you will need to renew it or upgrade it to access your quota.

I wrote an article / news / review / job post, when will my post be published?

The time it takes for your post to be published on RNGD depends on the review process by the RNGD team. They will check your post for quality and validity before approving or rejecting it. The review process can take anywhere from one week to one month. You will receive a notification when your post is published or rejected.

What are the guidelines I should follow so my article / news / review / job post gets accepted?

The guidelines you should follow that will help your article / news / review / job post gets accepted are:

  • Write original and relevant content that matches the theme and purpose of RNGD. Do not copy or plagiarize from other sources.
  • Use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting. Proofread and edit your content before submitting it.
  • Provide accurate and reliable information and sources. Cite your references and links when necessary.
  • Follow the specific rules and criteria for each type of post. For example, for a review, you may include a summary, a rating, a pros and cons list, and a personal opinion.
  • Respect the RNGD community and its values. Do not post anything that is offensive, abusive, hateful, or illegal.

 

How can I add a news article to a game in the database?

To add a news article to a game in the database, you need to have an active librarian membership level access. Once you have that, you need to follow these steps:

  • Go to the [Edit Game Data] form on the Add Game Data page or from the website top menu or here [https://forms.gle/cFwX3ceKHzNK2wPS8].
  • enter your username, email, and Select “Game” as the Game Data Type.
  • Enter the game title name in the Title section.
  • Add the news links or ids in the News Links (optional) or News ids (optional) sections, respectively.
  • Submit your request and wait for the RNGD team to review and approve it.
How can I add a review to a game in the database?

To add a review article to a game in the database, you need to have an active Reviewer membership level access. Once you have that, you need to follow these steps:

  • Go to the [Edit Game Data] form on the Add Game Data page or from the website top menu or here [https://forms.gle/cFwX3ceKHzNK2wPS8].
  • Select “Game” as the Game Data Type.
  • Enter the game title name in the Title section.
  • Add the reviews links or ids in the News Links (optional) or News ids (optional) sections, respectively.
  • Submit your request and wait for the RNGD team to review and approve it.
How can I edit a game data after it has been published on RNGD?

To edit a game data after it has been published on RNGD, you need to follow these steps:

  • If you submitted your game data through the [Add Game Data] form and it has not been reviewed and published yet, you can edit your entry after submission. You just need to go back to the form and make the changes you want.
  • If your game data has already been published, you need to go to the [Edit Game Data] form and select the Game Data Type. Then, enter only the name field and the fields you want to edit with the new information.

The RNGD team will review your edit request and check your game data for eligibility and quality within one month. If your edit request is valid and got approved, your game data will be updated on the website. you will receive an email once your edits is puplished.
